The team plans to develop the sites into two multifamily towers totalling approximately 180 apartment units. Taking advantage of the City of San Diego’s Complete Communities zoning overlay will allow for the development of high-quality residential housing on a fast-tracked schedule. Design and permitting have commenced and are expected to take 15 months. The Hillcrest submarket is especially strong, and the development location along Fifth Avenue is extremely favourable for walkability, access to public transport, and proximity to Balboa Park, downtown and the airport.
