Greython Construction has been selected by LNR Partners and GF Hotels to act as the general contractor for the renovation and restoration of the Cass Hotel in Chicago, IL. The hotel is a historic property built in the early 1900s and consists of a 15-storey, 174-room building located in the heart of Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. The scope of work includes the interior demolition and reconstruction of the hotel rooms, corridors, and amenity spaces, and the installation of new finishes, including carpentry, drywall, plaster, flooring, wall finishes, and plumbing and electrical fixtures. Work is scheduled to commence immediately and will be completed on a fast-track basis by early summer 2023.
